Father John Hopkins, LC

Father John Hopkins, LC, was ordained in 1991 by Pope John Paul II. Her served for 18 years in Washington, DC, and helped found Our Lady of Bethesda Retreat Center and the Center for Family Development, as well as the Alpha-Omega Clinic, a Catholic mental health center. He is also president emeritus of Divine Mercy University (DMU), which integrates the best of modern psychology with the Catholic faith. He holds degrees in Humanities, Philosophy, Psychology and Moral Theology, and is multi-lingual, speaking English, Spanish and Italian.

In addition to being the Director of the Divine Mercy Clinic and Family Center, Father John serves as Spiritual Director, supporting individuals, couples and families in their spiritual journeys. He is also a speaker and retreat master through the Family Center, bringing an additional source of healing and transformation in the Center’s holistic approach to help clients flourish.
