Jerome Resurreccion, MS, APCC

Jerome Resurreccion is an Associate Professional Clinical Counselor (APCC #19029). He completed his M.S. in Mental Health Counseling at Divine Mercy University. He is trained in Internal Family Systems (IFS) informed parts work through Stepping Stones and Stepping Deeper Advanced Training. He has experience integrating IFS and parts with metaphors, Catholic imaginative prayer, meditative prayer, and the interior life as related to Christianity, St. Teresa of Avila, and St. John of the Cross. Jerome is pursuing certification in Integral Eye Movement Therapy (IEMT), a method for working with trauma, problematic emotions, memories, and stress related to recurrent thought patterns. His clinical supervisor is Dr. Sean Tobin, PsyD (PSY #33387).

Because of his personal experience in working with other therapists, spiritual directors, and counselors, Jerome understands why so many people long to find a psychotherapist who appreciates their faith. Time and time again, he has heard from others, “My therapist doesn’t get me…” or "They think my Catholic beliefs are weird...” If those thoughts are relatable, there is another way. Your heart and faith can be integrated into the therapeutic experience. If you’re seeking help that makes space for your relationship with God, Jerome is here to make room for that journey.
