Michelle Abi-Rached, MS, APCC

Michelle Abi-Rached is an Associate Professional Clinical Counselor (APCC). She received a Masters of Science in Counseling from Divine Mercy University and a Bachelor of Arts in Early Childhood Studies from Cal Poly Pomona. She currently works as a counseling therapist at the Divine Mercy Clinic and Family Center in Duarte, CA. Michelle has experience supporting individuals and families across the lifespan. Before beginning her studies, she served in long-term care, supporting seniors and their families in a variety of capacities. She also has experience in early childhood and elementary education.

Michelle believes that each person is called to flourish and understands that counseling is a powerful tool to help on the journey towards healing. Through the integration of faith and psychology, she seeks to apply evidence-based clinical interventions while honoring the unique experiences of each client. Her aim is to help clients discover the life-giving message of Saint Paul to “be transformed by the renewal of your minds” (Romans 12:2). Michelle specializes in working with long-term clients who are healing from childhood trauma; those discerning, living or who have left religious life; couples experiencing marriage difficulties; individuals experiencing grief and loss and those struggling with anxiety and depression.
