Priya Tharayil is a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) with over 12 years of clinical practice in the State of California. Her past experience includes serving as a clinic supervisor, assisting in overseeing several county mental health programs for foster, high-risk and sexually exploited youth for the Department of Behavioral Health in San Bernardino County. Apart from her clinical supervision experience, and macro-social work practice, Priya’s clinical experience includes providing psychotherapy to various populations including children, adolescents, transition aged youth and adults. She specialized in treating complex trauma, mild eating disorders and other DSM related disorders. Priya considers it a tremendous privilege to be part of the Divine Mercy Clinic once a week and having the opportunity to integrate her Catholic faith into her clinical practice. In her spare time, Priya enjoys staying engaged in young adult ministry at St. Andrews Parish, being in the great outdoors and spending time with her family.
